We are excited to announce that our Creative Space & Gallery is now integrated with our retail store. This dedicated area allows us to host a series of events, workshops, and exhibitions to showcase local artists and talents.
Our space is located at 62A Arab Street, Singapore 199759, in a quaint walk-up shophouse within the historical Kampong Glam District. Come visit us and explore a vibrant community where creativity flourishes, all within the convenience of our art supply store.
Our Ticketed Event Fees: Fair, Transparent, and Artist-Focused
At Drawing Etc. Creative Space, our ticketed workshops will continue to run with a strong commitment to supporting the arts community. While we are a largely non-profit initiative, with various free events and exhibition calls regularly, this doesn't mean all programs will be free. Our primary goal is to ensure that both emerging and established artists who lead our workshops are paid fairly for their time, skills and effort, while maintaining a sustainable platform for continuity.
The fees you pay go directly towards:
- Fair compensation for our instructors, ensuring artists are rewarded for sharing their expertise and skills.
- Creating income and opportunities for artists, allowing them to engage with the community while gaining exposure and professional growth.
- Covering essential materials, venue and operational costs, providing a high-quality, well-equipped learning environment.
Our workshop fees are on par with, or often lower than, those of equivalent programs, ensuring accessibility while upholding our standards. Although some events, such as free shows and community activities, are complimentary, the information above specifically applies to our ticketed events.
