  • Day 3: Mastering Spray-Paint Aquatint for Tonal Prints
    Elevate your prints with spray-paint aquatint! This approachable technique allows you to create stunning tonal variations and shades using a spray-paint resist and controlled acid exposure. By the end of the course, you’ll combine your line etching and aquatint to produce a richly detailed final print.

Exclusive Offer: 4 Open Studio Sessions in 4-Hour Blocks

After the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to continue honing your skills with 4 open studio sessions, each in 4-hour blocks, giving you access to our studio facilities for further practice. This added value allows you to:

  • Valid for three months after completion of course.
  • The open studio session lasts 4 hours within our operation hours and must be booked at least 72 hours in advance to avoid scheduling conflicts with other activities.
  • Bring your own materials (paper, inks, etc.) for additional printing.
  • Use our A2 size etching press, acid baths, and prep tables to refine your etching technique and print more editions.
  • Take advantage of our professional setup while working independently on your own projects.
  • Open sessions are self-guided.
  • Users will be inducted and agree to our Terms of Use, which includes safety brief, housekeeping, etc. It will be presented in writing and acknowledged by Signature.

Conditions for Open Studio Use:

  • Sessions are 4 hours each and must be booked 72 hours in advance to ensure no other classes or activities conflict.
  • Use your own materials during open studio sessions (copper plates, inks, paper, etc.).
  • Studio access is limited to the use of printing press, acid baths, and prep tables.
  • Sessions are valid for up to 3 months after the workshop.
