Print Lab – Guided Printmaking Sessions
One session at a time. One print at a time.
Print Lab is a flexible, ongoing printmaking session led by artist Zhang Fuming. Each session allows you to work at your own pace, exploring a technique of your choice or continuing an existing project. Guidance is available only when you ask for it.
This format acknowledges that printmaking is best learned through a personalised, tactile approach. Every print is different, and every process is nuanced. That is why we offer time, space and support, not a fixed class plan.
Small group sizes (maximum 5 participants) ensure there is always space for one-on-one feedback when needed.

About the Instructor
Zhang Fuming (b. 1989) is a Singaporean artist and printmaker specializing in black-and-white woodcut printmaking. A graduate of LASALLE College of the Arts, Fuming’s practice is deeply rooted in relief carving, using the medium’s immediacy and discipline to deliver layered social narratives through a contemporary realist lens.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Fuming has introduced hundreds of students to the fundamentals of printmaking. His teaching philosophy emphasizes hands-on learning, acknowledging that printmaking is inherently tactile, unpredictable and best understood through doing.
He is committed to preserving the craft of printmaking, while also fostering experimentation and individual exploration. Each session with Fuming offers space to engage meaningfully with the process, with guidance tailored to your needs and goals.
