A compact, ready-to-go palette for everyday painting.

Studio Six features six foundational colours:

Hansa Yellow Light (PY3)

Perm Red (PR170)

Ultramarine (PB29)

Yellow Ochre (PY43)

Ancient Clay (PR102)

Natural Black Iron Oxide (PBk11)

Each colour is hand-mulled and poured in layers to minimise shrinkage and maximise pigment load. Expect easy rewetting, thanks to our carefully tuned binder ratio and the character of the pigments used.

The tin measures approximately 6 × 5 cm when closed and opens flat for mixing. Each half pan is fitted with a simple magnetic strip so you can keep them secure in the tin or move them into your own setup. The aim is flexibility — whether you’re building your kit or adding to an existing one.

These six are selected as a core set for sketching, practice, or fieldwork. Versatile, balanced, and filled with colour.
