Studio 12 continues as part of our evolving Pigment Project. With each edition, this set reflects changes in our palette, shaped by new pigments, materials, and the gradual refinement of our practice. No two editions are the same. Each release offers a different approach to color, texture, and material honesty.

Once sold out, this edition will not be reissued. Future Studio 12 editions will feature new colors and compositions.

Edition 2 leans further into warm earths and muted hues, with new additions like Mars Yellow Deep and Cyprus Burnt Umber extending the tonal range. This palette balances vivid notes with softer, grounded pigments. It is ideal for expressive work that values granulation, transparency, and nuance.

This set comes in a classic travel watercolor tin in white enamel with ample mixing wells. Measuring approximately 12cm by 7cm when closed, the palette is compact and easy to bring wherever you work. The center reservoir fits a travel brush comfortably for convenience on the go.

Each pan is hand-mulled and poured in layers without fillers or brighteners. Some pigments activate easily. Others, like Cochineal Carmine and Madder Lake, reflect their mineral or botanical origins and may need a slower hand. This is part of their nature and part of the work.

Carefully formulated, tested, and made in small batches here in Singapore.
