Food as Subject: A Gouache Painting Workshop (15 Mar)

Workshop Overview
This exploration workshop introduces you to the vibrant world of gouache painting, whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills. No prior experience is needed!
Under the expert guidance of our instructor, Shirly Koh, you'll be guided step-by-step to create a food-inspired gouache painting while gaining a deeper understanding of this versatile medium.
Gouache offers the best of both worlds—opaque like acrylic yet reworkable unlike watercolor. Its rich pigmentation and velvety finish make it ideal for capturing the textures, colors, and forms of food. Exploring gouache invites you to experiment with layering, blending, and expressive brushwork, making each painting an exciting process of discovery.
