Drawing Etc. Art Supplies is back with our community exhibition. We welcome all theme and medium and we invite you to share your work and be part of this year's celebration of creativity!
Terms and Conditions
Exhibition Overview
The Year-End Exhibition is designed to celebrate creativity and collaboration within our artistic community. We invite artists to submit their works for consideration.
Eligibility
- Open to all artists within our community.
- Each artist may submit a maximum of three artworks.
- All artworks should be for sale.
- International artists not based in Singapore may choose to apply, we understand the transient nature of our community.
However, our submission & collection terms will remain unchanged. Kindly take these into consideration.
Submission Process
- All entries must be submitted through the Google Form provided by 25th November 2024.
- Please ensure all submissions strictly follow the provided guidelines, including dimensions and file naming conventions. Submissions that do not meet these requirements will not be considered, and no further notice will be given.
- Successful submission does not automatically grant exhibition inclusion. All submissions will go through a selection process. You'd receive selection result by Dec 1st, 2024.
Selection Process
- Our team of artist advisors will review all submissions.
- Selected artists will be notified by December 1st, 2024.
- Up to 70 artworks will be chosen to represent various mediums, styles, and genres.
- All submissions be made via official channel. We kindly ask that you do not contact our staff members to discuss or influence your intended submission. Only works submitted via the official process will be considered; no exceptions will be made.
Exhibition Details
- The exhibition will take place from December 21st to December 30th, 2024, at the Drawing Etc. Creative Space.
- All selected artworks must be delivered to the gallery between December 17th and December 19th, 2024.
- There will be no opening party for this showcase, as the gallery is now integrated within our store.
- All artworks must be in ready-to-hang condition for our track hanging system. Artists are responsible for preparing their artworks prior to submission, as we do not provide space, tools, or assistance for ratification.
- Artists are responsible for unwrapping their own artworks during submission and must keep their frame corners and wrapping materials.
- Artwork dimensions should not exceed 40cm x 40cm, including framing.
- The selection and curation of the artworks are final. Some pieces may be hung directly on the wall, while others may be displayed on pedestals or our community table for more intimate viewings. We will ensure maximum care during the setup.
Collection
- Artwork collection will be available from January 2nd to January 11th, 2025 (closed on Mondays and PH), between 2 PM to 7 PM.
- Artists are responsible for their own transportation and wrapping. No services or materials will be provided.
Fees
- There are no submission fees for this exhibition.
- Artists will retain 82% of any sales made during the exhibition, while Drawing Etc. will receive an 18% commission on sales.
Publicity
- By submitting their artworks, artists agree to allow Drawing Etc. to use images of their works for promotional purposes, including social media and print materials.
Insurance and Liability
- While we strive to provide a safe exhibition environment with security measures, including manpower and 24/7 CCTV, artists are encouraged to obtain additional insurance for their artworks as they see fit.
Security and Privacy
- Artists must respect the privacy and confidentiality of Drawing Etc.'s store operations. Access to areas outside the exhibition space, including customer traffic observation, store operations, and interactions, is restricted.
Agreement
- By submitting their artworks, artists agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
