Hello everyone!
It’s been a busy and exciting couple of months here at Drawing Etc. Art Supplies & Creative Space, and we’ve got some great updates to share with you.
First off, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve successfully relocated to Arab Street— and in record time! Moving an entire operation like ours was no small feat, but we pulled it off seamlessly, and now we’re settling into this vibrant new neighborhood. While we initially thought it would take us two months to set things up, we decided to move faster and learn as we go, keeping our doors open throughout the process.
From December 2022 to July 2023, we experimented with keeping our creative space in Arab Street and retail store separate at Sunshine Plaza.
While it was an interesting experience, we realized there were benefits to merging both under one roof. So, with our move to Arab Street, we’ve consolidated the two into one streamlined operation. This gives us more flexibility in terms of managing manpower and resources—both for us and for artists using the space—and allows artists to utilize the space without committing to long-term leases & higher costs. The new model fosters a more dynamic, creative environment for workshops and exhibitions while continuing to provide the high-quality materials you love.
Many of you showed incredible support during our huge moving sale, and as a result, our popular items sold out fast.
While we adjust to the new space, we're working hard behind the scenes to restock and curate a fresh selection of supplies. Restocking in large volumes is no easy task, especially with two years’ worth of inventory to rebuild and the ongoing global shipping challenges.
That said, we’re prioritizing key products like [your products], and one main product line that remains ever-popular is the full range of Daniel Smith Colors, which we've freshly acquired.
